Transactions of the Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery

Transactions of the Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery have primarily been established to publish papers from disciplines represented at the Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences, such as:

  • Renewable energy sources
  • Distributed energy generation
  • Flows of liquid, especially in hydraulic machinery,
  • Gas and liquid flows with heat transport, particularly two-phase flows,
  • Various aspects of plasma and laser engineering development,
  • Solid mechanics, mechanics of machinery,
  • Performance and diagnostics problems in fluid-flow machinery.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

There is no fee for open access publication.

Publication funding of this journal is provided by resources of the Institute of the Fluid Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Only original papers submitted in English, representing both theoretical and applied sciences are published. All papers are reviewed by two independent referees.

Transactions of the Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery are registered in a bibliographic database containing citations from the Polish technical journals - The "Polish Technical Journal Contents" BazTech.

Full texts of the papers since 2010 are also available in the Polish Technical Journal Contents BazTech. The bibliographic information and abstracts are available since 1998 (No. 104).

 

Publication of Trans. IFFM is renewed in 2023

The authors are invited to submit their scientific papers.
