Abstract

A family of new experimental electrodes with metastable structure of the padding weld have been deweloped for fixing material damages caused by cavitation impingement in hydraulic machines and devices. High effectiveness of cavitation erosion repair as well as good welding features are found to be rudimentary features of the manufactured electrodes. In the paper the results of laboratory and field tsts of the coatings created by means of the new electrodes are presented.
