Abstract

A state-of-the art review on the enhancement of condensation heat transfer techniques developed recently is presented in the paper. The classification of enhancement techniques is provided. It encompasses both the passive and active methods. The particular attention is paid to the problems where the authors have been carried out theoretical as well as experimental research. As an example of the passive technique the results of condensate drainage enhancement by using the drainage strip are presented. For an active method of heat transfer enhancement a novel EHD technique is described and some experimental results are provided.
