Measurement of dispersivity and moisture content in experimental turbines by optical method

Abstract

The issue of using optical  methods for measurements of moisture drops sżing and their concentration in a zone of steam flow condensation are set forth in this paper. A practical applications of optical indicatrice, spectral transarency and "narrow angles" method are shown. Main principles of probe construction to investigate two-phase medium are outlined. Practical result of investigation performed on experimental stands and a full-scale turbine are given.
