Symmetry-Adapted Wave Functions for Crystal Surface

Abstract

The character tables and the symmetry-adapted wave functions have been determined in a systematic way for non-symmorphic two-dimensional space group for x - y surface of white tin lattice. Actual calculations in the present work have been confined to four wave vectors of the two-dimensional Brillouin zone.

These functions may be used for calculations of the electronic properties of thin or thick films by means of multiple-scattering method.
