Influence of Some Design Parameters of the Ftuid-Flow Arrangement on the Operation of a Controllable Fluid Coupling [in Polish]
Abstract
The report is concerned with model investigations of a controllable fluid coupling. The effect of the number and thickness of impeller blades on the form of performance curves, especially for operation at the nominal slip value, was investigated. lt was shown that the optimum blade number corresponding to the maximum torque coefrcient depends on the nominal coupling slip.
