Działalność naukowa Zakładu Mechaniki Tarcia i Smarowania w latach 1976 - 1980

Abstract

Three groups of research work were carried out in the Department during the 1976- 1980 period. These were:

  • theoretical and  experimental investigations in the field of slide bearings and the physics of phenomena occurring in oil films,
  • an attempt to determine surface properties of bearing metals using the methods of solid state physics,
  • the works on high temperature, smokeless combustion of heavy fuel oils. 

Algorithms and computing programs determining characteristics and properties of slide bearings of all types used in the turbine technique have been elaborated for the needs of industrial enterprises. Scientific advices were given and techno-scientific expert reports have been worked out for the needs of maritime economy enterprises.
