Abstract
The Research Group or Electric-Discharge Convection Lasers and Gasdynamic Lasers concentrated its scientific activity during the years 1976-1980 on theoretical and experimental investigations of CO2, N2O and CO GDL's together with investigations and design work aimed at constructing an electric-discharge convection laser facility for metal-processing purposes.
Part of the work on GDL's was done in cooperation with the Lebedev Physical Institute in Moscow.
