Abstract

An analysis has been given regarding the operation of three Po|ish pumped-storage water power Plants at Żydowo, Porąbka-Żar and Żarnowiec from the point of view of taking advantage of their working periods at generating, pumping and compensation work, the number of switchings of the turbine sets, changes in the Power Plant loads per week, degree of using the capacity of the upper storage reservoir, power plant time model during a 24-hour day as well as availabiliiy.
