Abstract

This paper deals with the influence of internal front wall ribbing of centifugal pump casing on the axial thrust. The test stand is described and the results of investigations of the relation between the axial thrust and pump parameters on the ribbing of the casing front wall are presented. Also results of the measurements of the axial thrust and pump parameters with changed outflow from behind the impelier and afflux behind the impeller are described.
