Selection of Materials for Hydraulic Power Machines Exposed to Cavitation
Abstract
Attention is drawn to factors influencing performance of materials when exposed to cavitation. lnformation is given on methods of evaluating the resistance of materials basing on their mechanical properties and erosion tests. Special attention is given to the principles of selecting structural materials for machine elements which are exposed to cavitation.
