Abstract
The paper presents a comparison of accuracy of Belotserkovski and Jacobi quadratures method of numerical solution of Caucby type singular integral equation of the first kind which is the base for a solution of nonlinear problems of unsteady flow about thin profiles by means of discrete vortex approach. The comparison of accuracy of the methods was made for the case of steady flow about a flat plate and the flow about a plate with stationary vortex in the wake. The accuracy of the solution of singular integral equation of Caucby type with the aid of Gauss- or Radau-Jacobi quadratures is much better than in case of the Belotserkovski's method.
