Abstract
The paper presents exparimental investigations into the process of spreading of liquid droplet over the surface. The wall area covered by the droplet is characterized by a spreading ralio βR. It has been confirmed that the value of βR increases when the initial droplet volume increases and thę droplet-wall-environment system is in the quasi-static state. However, the influence of the initial surface temperature on βR has not been found.
