Abstract
The radial flow of a thin liqiud film on a horizontal plate formed by the impingement of a circular liquid jet is studied both theoretically and experimentally. The change of film thickness has been examined for different flow zones, encompassing also the phenomenon of hydraulic jump. Results of our own experimental data of film thickness have been presented and compared against calculated values.
