The Minister of Education and Science awarded IMP PAN

The 'Science for Society' congress took place on 3-5 June 2023 at the Warsaw University of Technology. The congress took place for the first time and was held under the honorary patronage of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education and Science. The main objective of the congress was to present the achievements of Polish scientific institutions and their impact on the development of Polish society. During the congress, the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, presented outstanding scientists with Sapientia et Veritas medals, commemorative diplomas and special statuettes for their contribution to modern society. The Sapientia et Veritas Gold Medal was awarded to Prof. Wiesław Ostachowicz, and the award for achieving the A+ category by the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMP PAN), as a result of the scientific evaluation covering the years 2017–2021, was received by the director Dr Marcin Lackowski, Associate Professor of IMP PAN.
