Only few days have been left till the VIth edition of Polish Hydropower Conference RENEXPO Poland which will take place on October 19/20 th in Warsaw. The Conference is organised jointly by the Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery, the Polish Hydropower Association (TEW), Polish Association for Small Hydropower Development (TRMEW), Commercial Section of the Norwegian Embassy in Warsaw and REECO Poland com-pany.
The honorary patronage over the Conference has been taken over by Mr Mariusz Gajda, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Environment, and Mr Karsten Klepsvik, the Royal Norwegian Ambassador to Poland. As before, the conference scope envisages a debate on the status of hydropower sector in view of current policy of Poland and other European countries as well as contributions on techno-scientific aspects of hydropower engineering.
