    - D.Sc.: 2000, Faculty of Shipbuilding and Ocean Technology, Technical University of Gdańsk,
    - Prof.: 2006, Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery,
    - 1962-1970 - Research Assistant at Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery,
    - 1970-2000 - Research Associate at Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery,

    MAIN INTERESTS:

    - Steam Turbine Diagnostics, Measurements, Computations and Design,
    - Computer aided design of turbomachinery flow systems,
    - Thermal and flow diagnostics of turbine cycles; development of CFD codes for complex power cycles and for their  components,
    - Thermal and flow measurements in low pressure steam turbines,
    - Development of a CFD code for solving 3D viscous compressible flow in turbomachinery geometries. Validation of the code on real full-scale and model turbines,
    - CFD investigation of flow phenomena in blading systems and labyrinth seals of large power turbines.

    HOBBIES:
    Sport (tennis, skiing), opera-singing.
