Heat Transfer Department is engaged in research about heat exchange in two-phase flows:
- Heat transfer with phase change (boiling and condensation),
- Two-phase flows (with or without thermodynamic equilibrium),
- Hydrodynamics and heat transfer of thin liquid films,
- Wetting of surface by liquid streams,
- Enhancement of condensation on finned tubes by using drainage strips and electric field (EHD method),
- Heat and mass transfer in two-phase gas-liquid and vapor-liquid injectors,
- Modeling of shock wave phenomena in two-phase flows.
