Some example of tasks solved in Energy Conversion Department.

The modifications of 120 MW steam turbine start-up process have been considered. Thermal-mechanical computations of casing and HP turbine rotor have allowed to generate a new start-up curves.

 

Geometry of investigated set.

The heating up of the casing and rotor have been modelled. It has allowed to compute the stresses, deformation and relative distance between rotor and casing of turbine HP part.
