Maciej Radzieński was born in 1983 in Gdynia. In years 2002-2007 he studied at the Gdynia Maritime University at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The title of his M.Sc. thesis was "Digital image processing in Mathcad environment".

He did his doctoral studies at Gdańsk University of Technology at faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering. The title of his Ph.D. thesis was  'Vibrational signals processing in damage detection of structural elements’.

In September 2010 he started working at the Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery in the Mechanics of Intelligent Structures Department.

His scientific interests are focused on the application of the elastic waves for structural health monitoring.
