In November 1989, at The Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdansk, a meeting of members of Gdansk scientific and industrial societies, representing Institutes of Polish Academy of Sciences, Gdansk Technical University, leading design offices and selected industry companies took place.
According to its
charter, the foundation intends to gain the financial resources in order
to support the scientific activity in the Gdansk Region.
The purpose
be achieved by means of the economic activity including the transfer and
implementation of technology partnerships, joint-ventures and other forms
of collaboration between Polish and foreign partners.
The presented offer with a variety of possible co-operation areas seems to be attractive for foreign partners as the work of Polish scientist, engineers and workers has already earned an international reputation and is considered as solid and inexpensive.
