On 6th July, we had the opportunity to take part in the Professional Drivers' Club, which was organized by the Communal Culture and Recreation Culture Center
in Smętowo Graniczne.
The main purpose of this event was to familiarize participants with the correct segregation of garbage and
their importance for the tourist attractiveness of this commune.
During the picnic, experts talked about how we get electricity and heat, how to
use renewable sources for electricity and heat and how to properly smoke in domestic boilers.
The main aim of the visit with the project was topics of the meetings i.e.
sustainable waste management including sewage sludge and municipal solid waste.
On 4-5th April we had a study tour to our Partner in Taurage. In the beginning
the Major of Taurage Mr. Sigitas Mičiulis welcomed participants of the meeting
and shared his expectations of straightening cooperation between PPs in the Wasteman Project.
On 21-22th February 2019 representatives of IMP, BOFA, Co-creative, COWI, 3PStudio and Danish Waste Association
met on Bornholm and participated in the Workshop and visited three Living Labs in Gudhjem, Pedersker and Rønne.
WP3 Initial Meeting was organized on 11th December 2018 in Copenhagen by Stig Hirsbak (PP AAU) and HC Holmstrand (PP Bofa) from Resourcelab
Bornholm (a collaborative between the AAU and Bofa).
On 31 October 2018 IMP PAN organized workshop for polish partners. During the meeting M. Piasecki made presentations and discussed issues related to
Project management procedures.
On 17 September 2018, the EU-funded project "WASTEMAN" - Integrated Sustainable Waste Management Systems decreasing pollution discharges
in the South Baltic area started in Gdańsk, Poland with a kick-off meeting.
