Abstract
The simulation of complex flow fields in turbomachines provides very important numerical data which are the base for an improvement of the all their performance. This paper includes some remarks about the application of CFD methods to predict selected flow situations in steam and gas turbines. New results has been shown for 3D flow with condensation and for the flow through channels with blade cooling by convection.
