Present State and Prospects of Development of Water-Power Engineering in Poland with Special Regard Paid to Demand for water Turbines

Abstract

The paper deals with the present state of water power plants in Poland against the background of technical water-power resources of rivers and the possibility of development of water-power engineering up to the year 2000. Next, an analysis was made of the types and quantities of water turbines necessary for the above delopment of water power plants in Poland.
