Abstract
A complex thermoelastohydrodynamic model of slider bearing is presented. This model includes the heat transfer between the oil film, the bush and the surroundings. Bush deformations are catculated with the aid of finite element method. The dynamic properties of the bearing are described with the use of the equation of motion for small displacements of the centre of the journal. The equations describing the theoretical model are adjusted to the requirements of numerical calculations.
