Applications of corona discharges
This task is conducted in the Department of Water and Air Cleaning and concerns:
- removal of nitrogen oxides from flue gas simulators in nonthermal plasma reactors with catalyst (a reactor with a positive dc corona discharge),
- electrohydrodynamic effect in nonthermal plasma reactors,
- application of Laser Induced Spectroscopy for time and space measurements of distribution of active particles in nonthermal plasma used in decomposition of nitrogen oxides,
- investigations of properties of various modes of corona discharge,
- modeling of kinetics of chemical reactions in nonthermal plasma,
