Experimental Investigation of the Pressure Drop of Freon 21 During Flow Boiling in Vertical Pipes

Abstract

A facility is described, designed for investigation and measurement of the freon 21 boiling pressure drop in vertical pipes. The measurements enabled a comparison between experimental data on the twophase friction factor and its values calculated after formulas presented in [2]. A good coincidence of the calculated and experimental values has been stated, proving the soundness.
