Workshops: Consultation of the project of actualization of the Energy Strategy of Pomorskie Voivodeship,
with special focus on electricity production in the region and utilization of RES, 6.05.2009, Gdańsk
On the 6th of May 2009, Baltic Eco-Energy Cluster (BEEC), chaired by IFFM PASci,
(in Polish: IMP PAN),
together with the Marshal Office of Pomorskie Voivodeship
(Local Self-government) organized local workshops
focused on consultation of the project of actualization of the Energy Strategy of Pomorskie Voivodeship,
with special focus on electricity production in the region and with respect to the utilization of
RES. Ca. 70 persons participated in the event. Workshops attracted representatives of regional decision-makers,
representatives of academia as well as reps of the regional business entities. The idea of co-organization of this
event by the BEEC Regional Network Point on Bioenergy, together with the Marshal Office of Pomorskie Voivodeship,
was initiated during the local Bioenergy Promotion Kick-off meeting held in Gdansk, in March 2009.
Conference: Assessment of the project of actualization of the Energy Strategy of Pomorskie Voivodeship,
with special focus on electricity production in the region and utilization of RES, 10.07.2009, Gdansk
BEEC Regional Network Point on Bioenergy, in close cooperation with the Marshal Office of Pomorskie Voivodeship,
organized a continuation of the workshop held in May 2009 - a second stage consultation of the draft project of
actualization of the Energy Strategy of Pomorskie Voivodeship, with special focus on electricity production
in the region and with respect to the utilization of RES.
