Mariusz Jasiński is an absolvent of the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of the Gdańsk University of Technology. The MSc degree he received in 1997. In 2003 he defended the PhD degree from The Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery Polish Academy of Sciences, where he works Associate Researcher. Since January 2006 he is the Head of the Department of the Ionised Gases Electrodrodynamics (now the Department of Hydrogen Energy).
His research is focused on the development of microwave plasma sources, spectroscopy diagnostics of plasma and applications of plasma technique for environmental protection and energetics. Dr Jasiński is an author of 39 scientific papers in international journals, 86 conference papers and 30 confidential reports for Air Liquide company from France and QinetiQ from UK.
