The Doctoral School was established at Gdańsk University of Technology on 18 April 2019, run jointly with two Gdańsk institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences — the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery (IMP PAN) and the Institute of Hydro-Engineering (IBW PAN) — offering education in 12 disciplines from the 2019/2020 academic year.
